HG 1/144 Gundam Unicorn Destroy Mode (Re-post)

Hi guys I know, i'm repost again my HGUC unicorn Gundam Destroy mode.I post this again because my first post about this kit is not to cool and the picture is so blurrr~~~. OK lets start the action.

This thing can look beautiful at almost any angle! I really like having this just standing there though, a lot more so than action poses.

Action

Alright, um. This is awkward. The Destroy mode doesn’t come with any beam sabers. At all. And since it doesn’t come with any, I didn’t take one from another model. If you’re missing any beam saber shots, blame Bandai. ^^;
Also another reason why there isn’t any: The beam sabers I have don’t fit. Unicorn Gundam must use smaller beam sabers.

_Detail Shots_

The detail on this kit is really something else. Almost everything from the original design is on this kit (and by almost I mean very minor details you probably didn’t notice in the first place). The only qualm I have with this kit on the detail issue is that it doesn’t come with any open manipulator hands. But the Unicorn Mode of this model does…. =.=; Oh, and one more thing:
The Elbow joint. I don’t like it all that much. Here’s the thing with the design on this part: It’s built almost EXACTLY like the 00 Gundam joint. It also connects to the lower arm via a Polly Cap. This isn’t that bad, except the lower end of the arm is a bit on the heavy side, and after playing around with it for a little while, the arm begins to just fall off the elbow. And the arm doesn’t twist all that much, so you are very likely to just snap the elbow joint in half. Only one bad thing here. That said, the joint itself is fairly strong, and can hold up the arm, rifle and all, perfectly fine.
See? The beam sabers on the arm even flip out! (alright, it doesn’t “flip”, you have to remove the piece and put it back on, as there’s no actual hinge…) So nice if we had some beam sabers to go along with it,
Still have nothing to complain about…

Love the detail on the Beam Magnum (also love the Beam Magnum, too!). It can be stored on the back of the arm, or the back. Although it would have been nice to see maybe another part or two for the Magazine, so someone doesn’t have to go paint it, or something (I’m not, but hey). The shield’s also nice.
Some Random and gratuitous action shots. Always nice to have.
